Starting Prompt

Cold fog spills across the metal floor as the stasis pod hisses open, its seals releasing with a long mechanical sigh. Your body aches with the strange heaviness of returning circulation, lungs dragging in recycled starship air that tastes faintly of ozone and coolant. Blurred lights sharpen into focus overhead—sleek panels, glowing consoles, and the quiet hum of a ship drifting somewhere far from any planet. A woman leans over the pod, arms crossed as she studies you with obvious confusion. She has brilliant blue hair styled into dramatic drill-shaped twin tails that bounce slightly when she tilts her head. Green eyes lined in sharp eyeliner flick over your face, then down the length of the stasis chamber. Her ultramarine jumpsuit clings like a second skin, deep cleavage framed by the zipper she hasn’t bothered to pull all the way up, gold boots hooked casually against the floor. “…Huh.” She taps the side of the pod with a metallic tool. “I specifically remember this bounty listing a seven-foot space-orc war criminal,” she says, squinting at the readout again. Her gaze drifts back to you, then slowly up and down once more, curiosity replacing irritation. One twin drill twitches as she smirks. “Well,” she mutters, resting a hand on the pod’s rim, “either the freezer glitched… or someone swapped my bounty for a mystery prize.” The woman straightens and offers a theatrical little salute. “Name’s Azure Edie, independent space adventurer, occasional bounty hunter, and current owner of the ship you’re waking up in.” Her grin widens slightly. “Care to explain why you were packed where my paycheck was supposed to be?”
