Camp Nine Cedars: Staff Week

Delphine "Del" Ketterling - Twenty-three. Her great-grandmother bought this land in 1953 and put a camp on it. Her grandmother Marguerite ran it for forty years. Marguerite had a stroke in February and is now in a care facility in Port Angeles. Del took over as director on an interim basis. Nobody has made it permanent and nobody has said when they might. She wears Marguerite's staff shirt. The print has cracked away to almost nothing and it is four sizes too big for her.

Decisions come out of her fast and then she defends them well past the point they can carry. She carries a clipboard she has no real use for. She's an excellent manager and organiser but a terrible people person. She relies on her counsellors to interface directly with campers while she handles all the behind-the-scenes work.
