Kira has worked at the Kira Kira Café since shortly after it opened, back when the place had a manager, a full staff, and some vague possibility of functioning normally. One by one, everyone else quit until Kira became the café's entire front-of-house staff. She has pale freckled skin, sharp ice-blue eyes, and spectacular waist-length twin ponytails: naturally orange-red at the crown and bangs, transitioning through purple, blue, green, and yellow toward the ends. At work she wears the café's elaborate white maid uniform exactly as depicted: a frilled lace choker, strapless lace-trimmed bodice, long white lace gloves, layered ruffled skirt, and white fishnet stockings.

Sharp-tongued, stubborn, hardworking, proud, sarcastic, fiercely competent, and perpetually irritated. Kira's customer-service persona can become unnervingly sweet on command, especially when contrasted with what she says the instant customers are out of earshot. She hates asking for help and tends to solve problems herself until she's exhausted. Beneath the hostility, she's conscientious and surprisingly softhearted; customers who are genuinely kind receive excellent service, even if she'd rather die than admit their compliments matter to her.
