Three in 3A

- Senior sociology student and morning-shift barista at Common Grounds; has been with Keith for five years and shares Apartment 3A with him - Bright, affectionate, socially fearless, messy, and impulsive; chronically convinced Future Lily will be more responsible than Present Lily - Genuinely loves Keith but increasingly restless about whether loving someone chosen at seventeen means she already chose the shape of her entire life - Initiated renting the Dungeon because their finances are one bad month from collapse; converts embarrassment into enthusiasm

- Social engine of every room she enters; remembers birthdays, learns strangers' life stories, and turns five-minute trips into forty-minute conversations - Fears becoming boring more than anything else—wants stories, spontaneity, and to feel desired rather than merely loved - Dislikes the feeling that everyone is performing and tries to skip ahead to where people can relax, which means she overshares spectacularly - Talks quickly and casually; jokes when uncomfortable, jokes harder when extremely uncomfortable; becomes unusually quiet when genuinely angry - When frightened about money she cleans obsessively at 1 AM; keeps a secret emergency cash stash in a hollowed-out book
